Thank you for wanting to know more about us. Tiny Mountain Estates is owned and being built by Bill and Teresa Corkill. 

Bill has been a licensed general contractor in the state of North Carolina since 2006. Before building several subdivisions and homes in North Carolina and Florida, Bill spent 22 years in the US Navy, beginning his career as an E-1 electronics technician and retiring as a 0-4 jet pilot. Next, Bill was a project manager at Hewlett-Packard (HP) for several years, earning his general contractor’s license while working there. He is also a licensed insurance adjuster. 

Bill is now semi-retired, occasionally taking on projects like this Tiny Mountain Estates subdivision, as he felt that there was a need for more locations that would allow tiny homes in the Franklin, NC, area.

1. Take North Carolina Hwy 28 North from Franklin, NC.
2. Continue about 5.7 miles, and you will see the Cowee Baptist Church on your right and a BP gas station on your left.
3. Shortly after you see these facilities, you will bear right onto Cowee Creek Rd.
4. You will pass the Cowee School on your right.
5. Shortly after passing the Cowee School on your right, look for and take the slight right turn to stay on Cowee Creek Rd
6. You will pass the T.M. Rickman Store on your right.
7. Continue about 1.5 miles and take the left onto Leatherman Gap Rd.
8. Continue about .6 mile and look for the “Tiny Mountain Estates” sign on the left.
9. If using a GPS, put in 1800 Leatherman Gap, Franklin, NC, and this will get you close.
10. If you want to see lot 9, continue past the “Tiny Mountain Estates” sign on the left, and take the next left turn and go up the driveway
